Param Ishan is a supercomputer developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), an organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in India. It was launched in 2016 and is one of the fastest supercomputers in India.

The Param Ishan supercomputer is built using a combination of custom-designed components and off-the-shelf hardware. The machine is built with 384 nodes, each containing two Intel Xeon E5-2695v4 processors, for a total of 7,680 processor cores. The Param Ishan supercomputer is used for a wide range of applications, including scientific research, weather forecasting, and engineering simulations. It is particularly useful for solving problems that require large amounts of data to be processed simultaneously, such as climate modeling and fluid dynamics simulations.
